Pastor Mark Standridge
Pastor Mark grew up in a Christian home and accepted the Lord as a child. He was involved in the Baptist Student Union at West Georgia College and has served as a youth director and resort missionary with the North American Mission Board under the Innovator Program. Prior to entering the ministry He worked at the Georgia department of Agriculture. Pastor Mark attended seminary at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and has pastored churches in Colorado, Texas and Georgia before coming to California and Placer Heights Baptist Church in 2010. He enjoys outdoor activities especially fishing, hunting, and family camping trips. Mark’s wife Debbie passed away in December of 2015. Pastor Mark married Diahann (Jenkins) in 2021. It is interesting that Pastor Mark had baptized Diahann and two of her four children in 2010.
Pastor Mark and Diahann live in Mosquito with their dog, Chance, cat Irene, and a bunch of chickens. It seems like there is always a grandkid or two, or three, running around “Pa and Gugu’s” place.
Pastor’s favorite verse is, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13).
